Jotul F500 Oslo Wood Stove
It feels like the year of big stoves here in the shop, as we have another F500 Oslo Jotul Woodstove come through the shop!
And as a nice continuing trend, one that was not is terrible shape, just well overdue for a rebuild. Which we started as always by taking apart the entire stove bolt by bolt.
After initial inspection of the parts it was off to sandblasting. Once everything is brought down to bare iron we do the final inspection and order any parts that may be needed. In this case we had another stove where the secondary manifold was in good shape and was able to be rebuilt back to new.
Next we paint with the highest quality professional grade Thurmalox High Temp Stove Paint, in Satin Black. And then get down to assembly and fitting the new parts.
Assembly went as smooth as butter and in the end we have another spectacular Oslo F500 ready for the client to take delivery back! Everyone was more than pleased with the results, and this stove is ready to go back in action for another 20 years!
