Ambiance Wood Burners is a one of the leading US biomass supplier that is committed to sustainability and responsible supply. We believe that our industry has a significant role to play in moving the domestic energy sector away from fossil fuel dependency.

We are working with our customers and supply chain partners to reduce our environmental impact. For example, we are reducing waste generation, using reusable and recyclable packaging, and working to ensure that our suppliers are compliant with sustainability standards. We are also founding members of the Ready to Burn Steering Council and the US Pellet Council.
We are investing in longer-term projects to support sustainability, such as the development of mobile pelletisation technology.

We are acutely aware that this is part of a longer journey. Our aim is to work towards meaningful carbon target setting with an initial focus on Scope 1 and 2 emissions, as defined by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and subsequently extended to consider indirect Scope 3 emissions. We are taking steps towards this in working with key supply chain partners to identify Scope 3 emissions hot spots and supporting initiatives including lower-carbon transport alternatives.
